Elizabeth Fe'Lyn- 4 Months Old

It is hard to believe that Elizabeth is already 4 months old. We have had several doctors appointments and Elizabeth seems to be doing just fine. She has been enrolled in a program called Sooner Start. This program is for people that have diagnoses of problems, not on financial need. Sooner Start sends out nurses to evaluate the children's progress and will have specialists come out if they are needed such as speech therapists, physical therapists, etc. We went to a genetics doctor appointment last week and they did an evaluation on her. The doctor said that he couldn't guarantee anything, but that he felt like she would lead a fairly normal life and not have many problems. Our doctor, the Sooner Start nurse, and now the genetics doctor, all feel that Elizabeth is not going to have many problems from her ACC. The main concern they have for her is for her vision. She doesn't track things as well as she should, so we have an appointment with a pediatric neuro-ophthamologist next month. Pamela and I have noticed that Elizabeth's vision has improved greatly over the last couple of weeks. Please pray for her vision to continue to improve and there will be no major issues with her eyes. Pamela took Elizabeth to Wal-Mart to have pictures taken and as soon as I get it scanned into the computer, I will post one up here.
